All villa private pools are very generously sized too.
During our stay, we enjoyed experiencing both beach and overwater villas. Both were excellent. For those who love to be able to walk a few metres out of your door and be right on a stunning white sand beach and closer to restaurants and activities, beach pool villas would be ideal. Our favourite though had to be the large stunning One Bedroom Overwater Suites with Pool. These are 181 sq. m. and have a long private panoramic pool, large enough to swim in, and a separate living room and bathroom. There’s direct access to the ocean from the deck which has a dining area, sun loungers, shower and a hammock. Inside there’s a king-size bed, complimentary Wi-Fi, coffee/tea facilities, a 55-inch HDTV, laptop safe, air conditioning, mini bar, and ceiling fan.

We really enjoyed the Beach Shack for its upscale, yet unpretentious, feet-in-the-sand dining. A relaxed haven of rustic luxury, serving pizza fresh from the oven by day and wonderful flame-grilled meat and seafood dishes for dinner under the stars. And not forgetting Origin – an overwater speciality restaurant that integrates fine dining with the signature Italian flavours of Sicilian chef Silvio Zaccareo. Sitting on the deck outside with an uninterrupted view of the Indian Ocean was bliss.
