Extensively refurbished in 2022, the camp celebrates its successful 20-year partnership with the Okavango Community Trust, with thoughtful design detail and bespoke pieces applied throughout the camp to reflect its sense of place and culture, along with a traditional menu using locally sourced ingredients. This mutually beneficial partnership has positively contributed to community upliftment, income generation and skills development for the local villages whilst conserving this pristine wilderness area.
Water-based activities include gliding along the channels off the Okavango Delta on a Mokoro – a traditional dugout canoe, boating along the waterways whilst sipping a sundowner and enjoying a catch-and-release fishing experience – common species include tilapia and catfish.
